College of Health & Human Performance Spring 2022 Recognition Ceremony


Join us as we recognize graduates earning master's and bachelor's degrees from the College of Health & Human Performance.

Save the date for Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. The processional will begin at 1:30 p.m.

At this recognition ceremony, master's degree and bachelor's degree graduates will be individually recognized by Dean Michael Reid. A guest speaker and graduating student speaker will address the Class of 2022 and guests. 

  • All attendees must pass through metal detectors and bag searches. See security policies page. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Graduate check-in is at Gate 4 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Graduates are expected to assemble by 1 p.m. as the processional will begin at 1:30 p.m.
  • Regalia (cap and gown) is required; it’s your ticket into the lineup area and into the ceremony. See bookstore for ordering information.
  • Don’t forget your name card which you will receive when you pick up your regalia from the bookstore.
  • Guests must enter through the main gates which will open at 12:30 p.m.

Please note, at this time we do not anticipate ticketing this ceremony. However, if CDC guidelines were to change, we would adjust to meet those expectations. If any changes are made, we will inform graduates and guests.

All graduates and guests are encouraged to attend the University-Wide Commencement Ceremony on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 7-9 p.m. in Ben Hill Griffith Stadium. 

The Doctoral Commencement Ceremony will be held for graduates earning a Ph.D. or DAT on Thursday, April 28 from 9-11 a.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
