At this recognition ceremony, master's degree and bachelor's degree graduates will be individually recognized by Dean Michael Reid. American Bobsledder Steve Mesler, BSESS '00, and Alexis Halstead, BSAPK '23, will address the Class of 2023 and guests. 

• Beginning Thursday morning, parking restrictions will be lifted for the O'Connell Center lot and garage (garage #7). See Google map.
• All attendees must pass through metal detectors and bag searches. See security policies page. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
• Graduate check-in is at Gate 4 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Graduates are expected to assemble by 1 p.m. as the processional will begin at 1:30 p.m.
• Regalia (cap and gown) is required; it’s your ticket into the lineup area and into the ceremony. See bookstore for ordering information.
• Don’t forget your name card which you will receive when you pick up your regalia from the bookstore.
• Guests must enter through the main gates which will open at 12:30 p.m.
• Candidates in need of accommodations should complete the commencement accommodation request form. Guests in need of accommodations should review the commencement accessibility webpage.
• The ceremony will be available on livestream at mediasite.video.ufl.edu.

Please note, we do not plan to distribute tickets or limit guests for this ceremony.

Additional Ceremonies

All graduates and guests are encouraged to attend the University-Wide Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 7-9 p.m. in Ben Hill Griffith Stadium. 

The Doctoral Recognition Ceremony will be held for graduates earning a Ph.D. or DAT on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 9-11 a.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
