“Through your support, our college has flourished, and the impact has rippled across generations,” said Christopher Janelle, Ph.D., senior associate dean for academic and student affairs, at the unveiling. “Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, from expanding our endowment to an impressive $10.6 million to shattering fundraising records with a monumental $15 million raised during our recent ‘Go Greater’ capital campaign.”

Lesley Ann Watt, senior director of development and alumni affairs, echoed Dr. Janelle’s comments and provided the toast thanking donors before the unveiling.

Each of the 118 plaques celebrates individuals and couples who have donated to the college. Spanning the wall is the phrase, “Helping UF Move Forward,” accompanied by iconic scenes of campus and the Florida Gym.

The donor wall, flanking the entrance to the dean’s suite, is part of the college’s “Hall of Honor,” which includes additional plaques celebrating notable alumni, students, friends and notable speakers.

“Thanks to the commitment of our alumni and friends, our college stands ready to achieve even greater milestones,” said Michael Reid, Ph.D., dean. “Our shared commitment to education and research will continue to shape a legacy of excellence and a brighter future for generations to come.”
