Michael Reid, Ph.D., dean of the College of Health & Human Performance and professor in applied physiology & kinesiology, was awarded the honor award at the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine in February.

The award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to exercise science and sports medicine while working in the state of Texas. Reid delivered a lecture focusing on the physiologic stress in auto racing. Learn about past honorees (pdf).
