A Note From the Dean

A Note From the Dean

This year marks the 75th anniversary of our college. Happy birthday, HHP!

I’m optimistic about the year ahead. Many of our health care workers and those 65 and over in our community have started to receive their vaccines, and many of our students and faculty have safely returned to the classroom.

I know this hasn’t been an easy time, and we want to know how our community is rising to the challenge. I’d like to ask you to share the things you are doing to make it through what has been a challenging year. We’re looking for story ideas showcasing our amazing Gators. All ideas welcome, from signing up to be a poll worker, to sewing masks, to distributing or donating food. We’re hoping to share your stories in future editions of Performance.

We look forward to the chance to celebrate overcoming this pandemic and the college’s anniversary some time in the near future. We’ll keep you posted as details come together.

Until then, please stay safe and Go Gators!

While our name, departments and programs have evolved and grown over the years, the college continues to be focused on advancing how we live, work and play.
