Biography
Emily Padgett Plunkett, Ph.D., is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Management. A three-time UF graduate and former Gator athlete, Plunkett returned to UF after working as a clinical faculty member at Texas A&M University. A PAADS-certified Athlete Development Specialist, she has developed career transition programming, courses, and executive education for college athletes, sport management students, and professional athletic support staff.
