Homecoming Tailgate

This year’s tailgate will be housed in a large tent covering the Florida Gym Courtyard (Main Entrance), facing Stadium Road.

Due to the upcoming stadium renovations, HHP programs currently housed in Yon Hall (located within the stadium) are being relocated. As a result, available space in the Florida Gym is being repurposed for students, faculty and research activities. Because of these shifting space needs, events that were historically held on the Florida Gym basketball courts, such as the tailgate, must be moved to a new location outside the building or offsite altogether.

While our new location won’t accommodate bounce houses this year, we’re bringing the fun in new ways. Enjoy spirited face painting (new this year!) and snap some memories at our photo booth

Yes! While the event will take place outside of the Florida Gym, pre-registration is still required. Those without pre-registration will be unable to attend.

Yes! Just like in previous years, this tailgate will be a catered event. While alcoholic beverages will not be available, we’ll be serving a variety of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.

We welcome HHP alumni, faculty, staff and students, along with their families, to attend this event.

Absolutely! This event is designed for guests of all ages.

Like all game weekends, parking can be tricky. We encourage you to visit UF football parking’s website to scout availability ahead of time.

This is a free event.

The event starts two hours before kick-off.
