Dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for students and families
Michael Sartorio graduated from the University of Florida ‘s College of Health & Human Performance with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management in 2006 and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education in 2012. Since then, he has dedicated his career to enhancing the educational experience for students and families. Michael has worked with Collier County Public Schools for 18 years and currently holds several key roles at Barron Collier High School in Naples, FL, including activities coordinator, athletics director and administrator. His passion lies in creating memorable experiences for students during their time in school. When asked about his motivation for pursuing sport management, Michael shared, "I have always loved sports and extracurricular activities. Having a career in the educational field related to these things was a great opportunity.” His favorite aspect of his work is collaborating with students and families both on campus and in the community. His advice to students? "Apply yourself and have fun while you're there. Being at UF was a fantastic learning experience that provided me with a great education."
