Ron Gromoll is a Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Toursim, Hospitality, & Event Management. Ron is a United States Marine and he worked as a General Manager in the hospitality industry for over thirty years. He teaches lodging and operations management, hospitality revenue management, hospitality management, and marketing in hospitality/tourism.
Dr. Mani is currently an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. She has varied teaching interests, including applied human physiology, motor learning, neuromuscular aspects of exercise, and applied sports science. Dr. Mani has a prolific background in international education, and has emphasized the importance of internationalizing APK coursework. Dr. Mani is an internationally-certified judo referee and serves as the Faculty Advisor for the Gator Judo Club.
Julio D. Rodriguez received his Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University’s Department of Health & Behavior Studies. A Certified Health Education Specialist, Dr. Rodriguez also holds an M.S. in Community Health Education with a specialization in Health Promotion and Worksite Wellness from the University of West Florida. Dr. Rodriguez’ primary research areas of interest include: stress management within the college student population, substance use and abuse among the college student population, school health, community health, foundations of health education and promotion.
Cyntrice Thomas is a Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Management. She is also a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia and Virginia. Dr. Thomas is interested in conducting research related to the legal aspects of sports, social issues in sports, antitrust law, and collective bargaining in sports. She teaches introduction to sport management, legal issues in sport management, and issues in sport law.
