Chris Hass was inducted as a fellow into the American Society of Biomechanics by Wendy Murray, Ph.D., past-president of ASB.
Chris J. Hass, Ph.D., associate provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs and professor in the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, has been appointed a fellow of the American Society of Biomechanics. He is one of two fellows nominated for the 2019 cohort and is recognized for his professional achievement, leadership and service as a top member of the ASB.
Hass has been an ASB member since 1999, when he joined as a Ph.D. student. His research on movement disorders, musculoskeletal coordination and motor pattern generators has been funded by The Michael J. Fox Foundation, National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
