The UF Department of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management wants to see your best photos showing your #IAmWithThem spirit. Your THEM might be family, friends, pets, nature, travel, events...whatever makes you happy!
Between September 28 and October 23, post your photos on your social media using #IAmWithTHEM and tag us on Instagram (@them_uf), Facebook (@UFTHEM) and Twitter (@them_uf). The best photos will be selected by our faculty and staff to win scholarships. Furthermore, we will select 5 photos to share on our pages between October 21-23 to win a "People's Choice" scholarship. The first 200 entries will also win "I Am With THEM" T-shirts!
Terms and Conditions
- Students should post their pictures on their own social media with #IAmWithTHEM and tag us on Instagram (@them_uf), Facebook (@UFTHEM) and/or Twitter (@them_uf).
- Six scholarships will be awarded to the best photos, being 3 of $200 and 3 of $100. Best photos will be chosen by the faculty and staff from the Department of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management and the College of Health and Human Performance.
- One scholarship of $200 will be awarded to the public's most voted photo during October 26-28. Five photos will be selected from the submissions and posted on THEM Instagram for votes.
- Up to two hundred t-shirts will be awarded to the first 200 participants. T-shirts are limited to current and fee-paying UF students.
- Your Instagram/Facebook might need to be public during the contest so we can confirm you posted the photo.
- Contact will be made to challenge winners within 3 weeks via direct message with details on t-shirt pickup. T-shirts must be picked up during one of our T-Shirt Distribution events. UFID is required to retrieve a t-shirt, and you may be asked to show your qualifying post.
- Participants are subject to the policies and expectations of social media platforms used, including but not limited to restrictions on the use of copyrighted content. UF policies apply, including but not limited to student code of conduct and acceptable use of information technology policies.
- Content submitted by participants may be used in promotional materials for UF Department of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management, including but not limited to printed materials, social media and digital marketing.
