Tourism, Hospitality, and Events is the fastest growing industry in the world with a greater number of people traveling both domestically and internationally than ever before. The current mobility has reached a record high with over a billion people annually and projected for further growth. This global demand has resulted in major development in infrastructure such as, hotels, resorts, attractions, restaurants, and associated businesses that cater to the broader tourism, hospitality, and events industry. With such growth, there is major need to further develop human resources to meet the needs of the industry. Career prospects are extremely promising in Florida, U.S. and globally.
The Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management degree prepares students to excel in their careers by providing an in-depth understanding of the industry, an understanding of how to apply business skills like management and marketing to specific specializations in the industry, leadership skills, and hands-on experience. Coursework is designed to empower students to become leaders, decision-makers, and entrepreneurs who create change in an ever-evolving industry.

Graduate and undergraduate students will have the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and practice in artificial intelligence trends, analytic skills, machine learning concepts, technology applications, opportunities, and challenges in industries.
