Ivy Andrews (BSR ‘93)

Ivy Andrews graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Health & Human Performance in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Recreation, and she earned her master’s degree in adult education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1999. Currently, she works for the State of Florida Department of Children & Families where she provides resources, solutions and services to families and children. Ivy's passion for community well-being remains steadfast, and she believes her current role provides her with similar opportunities to make a positive impact. When asked about recommending the college to students, Ivy emphasizes the safe and nurturing environment it offers for personal growth, knowledge acquisition and career preparation. Her advice to students echoes resilience: "If life knocks you down, lift yourself back up."
