Controlling your breath can help you manage your stress by helping regulate your nervous system. Try these breathing exercises:

  • The Relaxing Breath (4-7-8)
    • Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds
  • Box Breathing
    • Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds
