
Meet Jack Bates
Program Coordinator, Department of Health Education and Behavior
Biography
Jack provides program coordination and project support to the Chair of the Department of Health Education and Behavior. He coordinates and supports key projects, including: Faculty Tenure and Promotion applications; Annual Progress Reports for HEB Faculty; an NIH-Funded T32 Training Grant; and the HEB Industry Advisory Board. Among other responsibilities, Jack also assists with strategic planning, writing and revising reports, and organizing, scheduling, and facilitating meetings.
Jack holds a Master of International Studies degree with a focus in Foreign Policy from the Josef Korbel School at the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. He also has international teaching experience, having taught English as a Second Language to high school students in Wrocław, Poland.
