Scholarship Convocation

Convocation is an annual gathering to honor our exceptional scholarship recipients and recognize our generous donors who have made a lasting difference. 

Each invitee may bring one guest. 

This event is by invitation only to scholarship recipients and scholarship donors, as well as select faculty and staff. Invitations will be sent electronically in either late June or early July 2026.

While attendance is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged to attend and thank your donor.

Absolutely! If you received a scholarship in the most recent award cycle and have now graduated, you are welcome to attend. You will receive an invitation and must RSVP.

We recommend dressing business casual, such as khakis, polos, dresses, skirts, slacks and jackets.

Hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

Parking is free and available onsite.

While there are plenty of hotels in Gainesville, the UF Hilton will be the most convenient since the event will take place at this venue.

Due to the upcoming stadium renovations, HHP programs currently housed in Yon Hall (located within the stadium) are being relocated. As a result, available space in the Florida Gym is being repurposed for students, faculty and research activities. Because of these shifting space needs, events that were historically held on the Florida Gym basketball courts must be moved to a new location outside the building or offsite altogether.
