The Pulse Newsletter

HHP Student News

The Pulse is the official newsletter for students enrolled in the College of Health & Human Performance.

This weekly newsletter gives students information for college events, academic and scholarship opportunities, community opportunities and important academic administrative announcements. The Pulse is delivered bi-weekly during the summer.

Submission Information

The Pulse newsletter is sent out on Wednesday mornings. Submissions deadline is every Friday at 5 p.m.

As part of our effort to comply with ADA accessibility requirements, we ask that you review any materials you submit to The Pulse to ensure they meet UF accessibility guidelines or are provided in accessible formats. Following these guidelines helps ensure that all members of our community can fully access and engage with the information we share. Guidance and resources for creating accessible content are available on the UF Accessibility website.

The deadline to become fully compliant is April 24. After this date, we will not be able to post announcements that do not meet accessibility requirements.

Submissions are limited to 200 words. Please include contact information and/or a link to a website for more details. Do not include any text formatting (bold, italics, underline), bullets or special characters. Submissions with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, incomplete submissions or those which do not adhere to the submission guidelines will not be accepted. Submissions that are not date specific (i.e. have no application deadline or event date) will run for 2 weeks and then be removed.
