How It Works
Start with your interests.
You do not need to contact every laboratory individually. Begin with one interest form and tell us what kind of research experience you are looking for.
Step 1
Explore
Learn about APK research and identify the laboratories and areas that interest you.
Step 2
Tell us about yourself
Share your academic background, availability, research interests and preferred laboratories.
Step 3
Connect
Participating faculty can review student interests as research opportunities become available.
Explore the Work
Research takes many forms.
APK research spans laboratory, biological, animal and human-participant studies. The type of work available to undergraduate researchers varies by laboratory and project.
Animal Research
Some APK laboratories conduct research involving animal models, including rats or mice. Depending on the laboratory and project, undergraduate researchers may have opportunities to participate in this work.
Laboratory & Biological Research
