Welcome to the College of Health and Human Performance website on Research. To help accomplish the college mission, our research efforts will focus on assisting individuals, families, and communities to protect, maintain, and promote their health, fitness, and quality of health.

Information on funded research projects, faculty recent publications and their research interest areas is presented here to highlight the research achievements at the college. In addition, research centers located in the college are included to help in providing an overall view of the researches conducted. As an example, the Addictive & Health Behavior (AHB) Research Institute was recently established to conduct national and international research examining the etiology, prevention and mitigation of addictive and health behaviors. To further stimulate and increase research activities, we recently developed a faculty research bonus incentive plan through salary savings and also implemented college wide competitive opportunity grants to provide seed money for research.
