GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eta Sigma Gamma (HEB student organization) is currently hosting two charitable collection drives, one for Peaceful Paths and the other for Alachua County Public Schools. Peaceful Paths assists battered women and their children. The organization is collecting women and children’s clothing, toiletries, make-up, toys, and books. All donations can be brought to FLG 6 (basement) through December 5.

Alachua County Public Schools are collecting canned food and other non-perishable food items to assist students in need during the holiday break. These children receive free breakfast and lunch at school; during the holiday break, however, parents must provide for them, a struggle for many families. Food baskets will be created for these families and given to them before the holiday. Items are being collected in FLG 6 and the drive will continue through December 5.
