"I supervise 10 UF interns each semester. The students learn so much from their internships with the City, and I would
not be able to complete my work without them." -Linda Piper, Events Coordinator, City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation,
and Cultural Affairs
Research and teaching in the College of Health and Human Performance (HHP) has an impact on almost every aspect
of the human condition.
HHP is proud that its students graduate with the tools, knowledge and confidence to fulfill their dreams – and
become remarkable assets to their communities. Our alumni choose careers as health educators, clinicians,
scientists, recreation and event managers, tourism professionals and health care providers (i.e. nurses, physicians,
physical therapists). Each helps to contribute to a healthier world for tomorrow.
