M.M. Tutton, Sr. Endowed Scholarship

About this Scholarship:

A native of Rome, GA., M.M. (Matt) Tutton Sr. was a chiropractic physician in practice for more than 30 years in Leesburg, FL. After attending Southern Adventist College in Collegedale, TN., and serving the Air Force during World War II, M.M. attended National Chiropractic College in Hinsdale, IL., graduating in 1948. The M.M. Tutton Sr Endowed Scholarship was established by Drs. Jill and Paul Varnes, both graduates and longtime faculty members of the College and Health and Human Performance, in memory of Jill’s father, Dr. Matt Tutton, Sr. (1921-1982).

Award Criteria:

  • This award is for a graduate student in Health Education and Behavior;
  • Preference given to doctoral students.
