Lee-McCachren Endowed Scholarship
About this Scholarship:
The Lee-McCachren Scholarship was established by M.B. and Mahala Chafin as a tribute to two outstanding instructors in the College of Health and Human Performance. P.A. Lee was a co-founder and driving force behind the original Gator Tennis Camp which began in 1976. Jim “Coach Mac” McCachren played a vital role in ensuring the high quality of the Gator Tennis Camp. Students and fellow professors viewed Lee and McCachren as an inseparable team, personally and professionally. The handball/racquetball courts, once on University Avenue, were named the Lee-McCachren Courts in their honor.
