POTTER-CHAFIN SCHOLARSHIP
William (Bill) Potter and Moses B. (M.B.) Chafin

William (Bill) Potter and Moses B. (M.B.) Chafin are former head coaches of the Gator tennis team and longtime members of the College faculty. Bill Potter retired from teaching a number of years ago; M.B. Chafin was Director of Recreational Sports and is an Associate Professor Emeritus of the College. He retired in 2000 after 36 years of service to the College. Friends, former players and students of Coach Potter and Coach Chafin established the scholarship as a way to honor these two outstanding educators.

Potter-Chafin Scholarship:This award is for any college major with outstanding character and a strong commitment to serve their profession, and who enjoys and actively participates in tennis.

2012 scholarship applications and all supporting materials must be submitted electronically by 4 p.m. on February 1, 2012 to scholarships@hhp.ufl.edu.
