Kyle Schuemann was a senior in the sport management program before he passed away in October 2003. He was an outstanding scholar with a 4.0 GPA and a member of Theta Chi fraternity. Eager for a career in athletics, Schuemann worked in the press box of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during UF football games and had accepted an internship at the PGA.

Kyle Fredrik Schuemann Memorial Scholarship: This award is for a student majoring in Sport Management with a minimum 3.5 UF GPA.
