This scholarship is donated by the Fessler’s son and daughter-in-law (Chuck and Judy) and their grandchildren (Jimmy and Debbie) in gratitude for all of the love and support given to them throughout the years. In making this gift, the donors state that “words are inadequate to express the depth of our love and appreciation.”

Charles and Miriam Fessler have been avid supporters of both the University and the College for nearly 40 years. The depth of their commitment in life can be seen in their 58 years of marriage. For the past 20 years, the Fesslers have been active volunteers in numerous community-based organizations in Jacksonville. Their love for volunteering continues to this day.

Charles Fessler Sr. and Miriam A. Fessler Scholarship: This award is for a junior or senior in any major in the College.
