CHARLES FESSLER JR. SCHOLARSHIP
Charles Fessler Jr.

Charles W. Fessler Jr. received his B.S. in 1968 and his Ed.S. in 1971. He was actively involved in the intramural sports program. When asked, those who knew him as a student remember him as a person who made things happen. Creative and energetic, he barely finished one project before starting the next. For the last 31 years, Fessler has been actively officiating for high school and college sports. He is a retired teacher at Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Charles W. Fessler Jr. Scholarship was in initiated in 1994 for majors in the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management who have had active involvement in the Recreational Sports program and demonstrated professional potential.

Charles W. Fessler, Jr. Scholarship: This award is for a student of junior or senior status in the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management.
