Biography:

May Kim, Ph.D., came to the University of Florida in 2005 from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she taught for a year. She is experienced in research and sport management education.

In the past, Kim has conducted research on management of volunteer and nontraditional workers in sport contexts. She has been published various times and presented in numerous international and national conferences.

Among Kim’s professional memberships are the North American Society of Sport Management and the Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She is currently on the NASSM nominating committee.
