Biography:

Since 2005, Hui Bian, Ph.D., has been a research associate in the Addictive and Health Behaviors Research Institute and has been a co-principal investigator on several federal grants. Bian is responsible for coordinating and conducting all data management and analysis functions undertaken by the institute. He also is responsible for conducting in-service trainings on data management and analysis for research staff and students, as well as writing data-based abstracts and manuscripts, assisting in writing research grant applications and presenting research at scientific meetings and conferences.

Research Interests:

• • Adolescents’ health behaviors (alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, physical activity, nutrition, etc), quantitative research, health program evaluation, epidemiological study, health survey design, biostatistics and oral health.
