Biography:

Melanie DeProspero began working at UF in April 2006 at the College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research as a Research Secretary. Here, she balanced accounts for faculty ranging from one thousand dollars to just under two million dollars, arranged travel, distributed mail and assisted other staff as needed. In November 2007 she entered the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy as a Senior Fiscal Assistant where she took on the purchasing and reconciliation of seventy-three accounts with a total balance of five million dollors. She then took her position to the next level and became the coordinator for a new master's program that was starting in the department that collaborated with the FDA.

Melanie is currently in the Department of Health Education and Behavior as an office assistant where she will manage all grants pre and post award, track assets, and serve as backup to the office manager with other fiscal duties.
