Event Marketing Student Association (EMSA)
EMSA is a professional student organization that promotes hands-on experience, professional development, and networking opportunities between students, faculty, and professionals in the events industry. The purpose of EMSA is to bring students together in the events industry to grow and learn by providing them the resources they need to succeed. We recruit guest speakers from Gainesville and the surrounding areas, visit event facilities, and plan events within the HHP college to better connect the students and faculty. Anyone interested in the field of events is welcome to join.

Eta Sigma Gamma

Gator Sport Management Organization

HHP Graduate Organization (HHP GO)
HHP GO supports the academic needs and professional development of graduate students at HHP and comprises representatives from each of the departments at the college. HHP GO depends on feedback in order to meet its mission, so graduate students are encouraged to become active members or to attend any of the HHP GO meetings. 


Health and Education for Research, Outreach, Empowerment & Service (HEROES)
HEROES aims to empower the community to advocate for their health and educational needs in order to create healthy environments through service, education and research. HEROES aims to educate and increase awareness, provide community support, encourage research collaboration, and to inspire passion and develop leadership among students.

Phi Epsilon Kappa
UF PEK is a pre-professional honors fraternity that is predominantly geared toward applied physiology and kinesiology majors, but anyone interested in health and fitness is welcome to join.

SHIP: School Health Interdisciplinary Program
The School Health Interdisciplinary Program is affiliated with the Department of Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida. School Health Education is a discipline that focuses on the health and social factors that influence educational success, increase attendance rates, and decrease school dropout. Through participation with the SHIP program, students learn about relevant health topics, including self-esteem, stress management, bullying prevention, drug use prevention, injury prevention, nutrition, and physical activity. Student Athletic Trainers’ Organization
The goals of SATO are to increase awareness of athletic training, foster the interests of its members, and support the local community by volunteering at athletic events and spearheading other service projects.

Student College Council
The HHP Student College Council serves as a liaison between the students, faculty, clubs and organizations and student government. Through the dissemination of information, funds and opportunities, the Student College Council is determined to support and advance the collective goals of the college’s students and its clubs and organizations. We strive to promote mutual understanding, communication, cooperation, and coordination among various departments, faculty, clubs, honoraries, and students as represented by their respective members.
