BIOMECHANICS DOCTORAL STUDENT RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING | 1/3

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Kim Fournier, a graduate student in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, has received notification that her grant proposal, entitled “STATIC AND DYNAMIC BALANCE CONTROL IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM”, has been funded by The Organization for Autism Research (OAR).

The OAR encourages grant applications from graduate students with the intent to encourage and support the pursuit of studies in disciplines related to autism. Through this competition, OAR intends to support rising stars in autism research. OAR seeks to fund studies that will likely produce practical and clearly objective results that may aid parents, families, professionals, and people with autism to make more fully informed choices that will lead to healthier and happier lives.
