Dr. Peter Giacobbi, Jr. has been invited to speak at the 2006 Mobility Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (RERC) State of the Science Conference September 17 - 18 in Atlanta Georgia. This conference is being hosted by the Mobility Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (Mobility RERC) located within the Center for Assistive Technology & Environmental Access (CATEA) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. It is also sponsored in part by the National Institutes of Disability Rehabilitation Research. The main focus of Dr. Giacobbi's presentation will be on innovative research design strategies being used to assess the quality of life of wheelchair users.
