APK Transfer Admission Information

Exercise Physiology Transfer Requirements

This curriculum is designed for students who want to major in APK and who also want to complete as part of their degree program the prerequisites required for admission to other health related programs, including chiropractic, medical, physical therapy, and physician assistant programs.

To be considered for transfer admission, this program requires a 2.0 minimum overall gpa, as well as a 3.0 minimum gpa and B’s or better in prerequisites. Up to two C’s may be accepted in prerequisite courses as long as the prerequisite gpa remains at or above a 3.0 gpa.

Prerequisites (# = can be the number 1 or 2, e.g., PSY1012 or 2012):

PSY#012 General Psychology
MAC#### One calculus course
BSC#085 & BSC#085L Human Anatomy and Physiology I with lab (or equivalent, such as BSC2093C)
BSC#086 & BSC#086L Human Anatomy and Physiology II with lab (or equivalent, such as BSC2094C)
BSC #010 & BSC#010L General Biology I with lab
BSC#011 & BSC#011L General Biology II with lab
CHM#045 & CHM#045L General Chemistry (Inorganic) I with lab
CHM#046 & CHM#046L General Chemistry (Inorganic) II with lab
