Since 2018, the college has awarded a student with the Wellspring Foundation Student Award to recognize a current student who has made substantial and outstanding contributions toward fostering diversity, inclusion and intercultural engagement both on campus and in the Gainesville community. The Wellspring Foundation has a goal of bringing young people of diverse backgrounds together to learn from one another and understand worlds beyond their own.
