Jamie Zeldman, MS is a Research Coordinator working with Dr. Mobley in the Department of Health Education and Behavior. She assists Dr. Mobley in conducting research in the community to better understand the multiple influences on dietary behavior and develop corresponding interventions to improve health, especially in underserved populations. She received a BS in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and a BS in Dietetics from the University of Florida in 2018. She completed her Masters in Food Science and Human Nutrition and Dietetic Internship from the University of Florida in 2020. Her research interests include community nutrition, health education and promotion to families, preventing childhood obesity, and combatting food insecurity. Jamie also enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and hiking.
